Cheilymenia theleboloides
Description
The genus Cheilymenia is characterized by small, stipe-less, flattened saucers bearing conspicuous (under a hand lens) eyelash hairs and growing on dung, rich soil, plant debris, or other materials. Fruitbody 2-10 mm broad, saucer- to disc-shaped, broadly attached; upper surface orange fading to golden yellow, then olive-yellow, becoming reddish-brown in drying; margin with sparse and indistinct hyaline hairs, somewhat darker than the upper surface; underside paler than the upper surface, with comparatively few inconspicuous, scattered, hyaline to yellowish-brown pointed hairs, the longest ones near the margin.

0.2 - 0.5 (1.5) cm in diameter, first rounded, later saucer-shaped or disc-shaped, flat, concave or convex, sessile, fleshy. The hymenial layer is smooth, golden-yellow or egg-yellow, reddish-brown when dry, located on the upper surface of the fruiting body. The outer (lower) surface is sterile, lighter than the hymenial layer, covered with colorless or yellowish-brown hairs, near the edge up to 1 mm long.

115-130 * 13-15 microns, cylindrical, 8 spores. Spores 15-20 * 8-11 microns, elliptical, with a smooth surface
Habitat and Distribution
It grows on piles of manure, piles of garbage and plant remains, in clusters.
