Scutellinia crucipila
Wat je moet weten
Scutellinia crucipila is een oneetbare paddenstoel met komvormige oranje vruchtlichamen. Vruchtlichamen zijn 2-8 (10) mm in diameter, sessiel, kegelvormig in de jeugd, worden dan recht en worden schotelvormig, prostaat; hymenium van lichtoranje tot oranjerood; de buitenkant is lichter en losjes bedekt met onzichtbare haartjes. De rand is lichtjes naar boven gebogen met een spaarzame pubescence van fijne haartjes.
De haren langs de rand en in het bovenste deel van de apothecia zijn recht, aan de buitenkant van de kelk gesplitst in 2-5 uitsteeksels, lichtbruin met lichtere uiteinden.
Groeit alleen of in trossen, vaak in associatie met andere soorten Cheilymenia en Scutellinia op kale grondresten, langs de randen van paden, in kuilen. Komt voor in juni-augustus. De soort is wijdverspreid.
