Shape: Starts conic to campanulate, maturing to convex or subumbonate.
Texture & Color: Smooth, viscid when wet, and striate near the margins. Ochraceous to yellowish-brown, sometimes with olive tones. It fades to a light straw color when dry. Bruises dark blue when handled.
